The open call is an information session about the National American Miss Pageant.  At the open call, you will complete a short application, have a quick interview with one of our staff, and watch a 30 min. presentation hosted by your state director.

HOW LONG WILL THE OPEN CALL LAST?

The entire open call process will take about an hour.

What should I wear to the open call?

Come dressed in something nice; snappy casual is a great idea. Or something that you may wear to picture day at school.  You do not need any kind of dress or down for this event.

What should I bring to the open call?

Just a positive attitude.  We will have everything else you will need for the open call process.

DOES A PARENT/GUARDIAN NEED TO ATTEND WITH ME?

If you are under 18 years old, yes a parent or guardian will need to attend with you.  Parents are with their children throughout the entire open call process.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE OPEN CALL?

Once the open call is over, we will contact you via text and email to let you know the status of your application.  If you choose to do the pageant, you will come back a few weeks later for a pageant prep training session.

We offer the pageant prep to contestants so they feel prepared, have an opportunity to practice, and get advice and instruction. The teachers of the pageant prep have competed and/or judged on the local, state, and national levels!! These coaches pride themselves on connecting with each contestant along with helping you feel “ready” for the exciting pageant weekend ahead!!

You will be taught all the necessary skills for pageant weekend including how to use a microphone effectively, modeling techniques, interviewing and speaking skills, and much more!
